Poetic Motivations:17

Oh my, I think we’re both inspired by Bukowski today. I’ve just been re-reading one of his poems.

โ€œMy dear,
Find what you love and let it kill you.
Let it drain you of your all. Let it cling onto your back and weigh you down into eventual nothingness.
Let it kill you and let it devour your remains.
For all things will kill you, both slowly and fastly, but itโ€™s much better to be killed by a lover.
~ Falsely yoursโ€

Can’t get this out of my head. Bukowski’s adorably peculiar, would you agree? Such a great man. ๐Ÿ™‚

What a beautiful kitty and sentiment. It is one that I tend to agree with. These furry little creatures can make the world go away, in a manner of speaking.
Have a great day.
