Thank you Roland. The bad weather hasn’t hit us yet in Haddenham. I hope you were not too badly affected.

Thank you Rosema. And the Universe celebrated this poem by sending us two days of heavy rain and it’s still falling 🙂
oh geez!!!! keep safe!
It has subsided now after two and a half days Rosema. Some parts of England, south of where I live, had really bad flooding. We seemed to have missed the worse.
oh. i have one friend from England and she said it’s really snowing and raining hard. geez. be safe.
Thank you Rosema, that is appreciated 🙂
you’re welcome! 😀
An entire life described in only few words – a true master-piece Davy 🙂
Thank you Maja. Those words coming from such a wonderful poet mean a lot 🙂
You are welcome, and thanks for the compliment 🙂
Not a problem Maja, you deserve it. Have a great week 🙂
I loved the title.
Thank you Kavita, I am glad you enjoyed it 🙂
I love it, Davy! California could use some of that. Send it over.
As I am writing this Laura we are into our second day of continuous heavy rain. I would gladly send you over some. Glad you enjoyed the poem 🙂
Ooooh love it!
Thank you Sarah, that is most appreciated 🙂
Love that last line…”scream at pavements.” Very original and I can feel their agony!
Thank you Gilda, there is nothing worse that being drenched by a speeding car. I appreciate you taking time out to visit and comment 🙂
Haha, you’ve captured the feeling well! You are welcome!
I can just picture people doing exactly as you say.
Thank you NJ. I hope you are not dancing in the rain like we are in the UK at the moment 🙂
Haha, no. Not at all. Monsoon is done with. Bracing for chilly times ahead 🙂
Likewise in the UK. They are forecasting a cold winter here. More time in the poetry den writing 🙂
A beautiful imagery … so vivid.. i can see it clearly through my head..
Thank you Mich. I am glad the poem sparked the pictures and thank you for taking time out to read and comment 🙂
Love the umbrellas running for cover–Brilliant!
Thank you Delyn. We have had plenty of practice over the past few days 🙂
Oh yes, lots of rain–we had a sunny break today, quite unexpected 🙂
It is nice to get that break from it Delyn. Things have calmed down over here in the UK 🙂
Glad to hear it, Davy–I wonder, are you expecting snow for winter? Last year I think we only got 6 flakes–very strange, though I appreciate not having to walk in perilous icy conditions 🙂
They are forecasting a hard winter here in the UK, but they do that most years and we don’t get much 🙂
Ahh, better to be prepared for the worst, I suppose 🙂
This one’s fun Davy. It’s imaginative, the mix of images makes me want to read again.
Cheers David. I am glad it had that effect.
