awww. yes oh yes!
I remember last night. I was on my way to the comfort room. And when I was inside the poem finished itself in my mind. I ran out after to write and voila! I lost it all. -_- The last two lines are left. Argh. haha

A thought-provoking quotation, Davy. I find the creative process is not susceptible to many rules. I would say it follows the heart (or whatever stands in for it at the time) more than the head.

This is an amazing quote. I love Rumi’s poems, and this quote brings me into his heart. Thank you.

Great quote, Davy. Believe it or not, I hadn’t heard of Rumi till I began blogging in Aug 2011.

I love Rumi and have a book of all his quotes and poems hand written so I feel his thoughts. Did you know Rumi in my native language means the Roman alphabets? The opposite of Arabic script, as we study both in school. He and Hafiz both speak with such wisdom. happy you shared this!

Perhaps we need to silence the world to hear our hearts? But yes, a lot of us can relate to this. Rumi ought to know he’s not alone. 🙂
