Hahaha…indeed they do sometimes, Davy 🙂

… A limerick a day by the way,
Makes a good start to the day!
I could go on writing;
Isn’t it exciting?
Well it keeps all those haikus at bay!

… and yours certainly does, Davy.

Love it! What a fun limerick….as is Roland’s. Definitely, a great start of the day!

As a rule all my verses are rude,
Envisage a poem in nude.
Try as I might
To quash the blight
The rhymes are tasteless and crude.

I love this one, Davy. Limericks are a bit tricky but they wake up the mind. 🙂

    Thank you Eugenia, they are my guilty pleasure when I want to escape from the dark caverns of my mind. Appreciate you taking time out to visit and comment 🙂

Witty and delightful! My own poetry certainly keeps me up at nights — worrying if I should feel guilty to have inflicted it upon an already suffering humanity! Thank you for sharing that limerick, Davy!

Fun is good….and limericks are so much harder to write than they feel like they should be…
