Hard hitting, important and poignant Davy

A significant comment on a fearful event, Davy . I really like the way your title does not just repeat the poem’s opening line – it is the poem’s opening line.

Powerful, Davy. I had to look up Rodeo, though. I think that comes from living on a continent that hasn’t experience war since the mid to late 1800s.

Thank you Laura. The name came from a conversation I had with someone, who had met someone with the same name. It fitted with the theme of the poem in that, no matter what we are called, when we are involved in wars of any kind we just disappear into a vault of statistics and become nameless.

Powerful writing, Davy. War leaves a trail of nameless victims. ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

Powerful words, Davy. War is proof of how insignificant we are.

Powerful poignant words, Davy.
So sad. War…whether it is a military operation between countries or 2 people fighting “in the street” is sad and tragic. Why can’t people learn to be compassionate, forgiving, helpful, etc., and just find ways to make life work?! ๐Ÿ˜ฆ
