Love love love this haiku and photo, Davy!
I love the moon! I feel akin to the moon AND the night sky! Coop and I take walks around midnight and just before sun-up most days. πŸ™‚
People tell me I must be nocturnal or vampiral. πŸ˜€
HUGS!!! πŸ™‚

Thank you Carolyn. There is a special magic about the moon and, being an early bird, I catch the moon fading. Very rarely do I see the midnight moon. I must put it on my list to do more often πŸ™‚

The allure of Selene, driving her chariot across the night sky, an expression of the beauty of nature or maybe a secret tryst, imagination & intellect fired, job done, thank you Davy.

Oh this is so good, the dual meaning behind. This is why I love poetry so much. You can hold a plethora of nuances and connotations in the littlest of words.

So much in s few words. Magic Davy.
With her magical allure she draws you in,
Selene, la Lune.
I think that is why you wait for night…to meet her again.

very graceful Davy, a new side to your poetry, words flowed into each other. I watch the moon a lot and dream about living on a watery surface. this one evoked such deep longing for something always out of reach but dreamed possible.

Lovely words and a stunning image, Davy. What would we do without the moon to inspire us?
